Do you remember Google Wave? It was one of those Google Apps that came on the scene and everyone seemed to jump on board. There were some who were confused about Google Wave and its purpose and there were others who knew exactly how to use it. I like many others used Google Wave as a collaboration tool for clients.

I was somewhat saddened when I read that Google was shutting down the Wave but I immediately started thinking of different alternatives to get my Google Wave fix (yes, I know about Apache Wave). Just this past week, I was introduced to Yammer, which is sort of like Facebook meets Google Wave. I was suddenly reminded about how much I missed the Wave and needed some other alternative.
